1. Find companies you are very interested in.

A majority of job seekers respond to the offerings posted on the various job post
boards. This is a scatter-shot approach. It puts you in a reactive instead of a
proactive mode. Look within yourself to visualize what you want out of your
career to discover what companies and organizations meet your needs.
