  1. Revisit old employers

You may have left an organization for a better opportunity. Nothing wrong with that. If you left on good terms, it’s worth a try to check in. After all, you are a known quantity. They may not have a staff opening, but need a gig worker for contract work. If they have nothing available, they might keep you in mind for future opportunities.
