Are you tired of your current job? Are you planning your retirement but still want to earn money in a different role? Have you considered consulting?

This sector has experienced great growth in recent years. Choose consulting requires you have a professional image. You will be interacting with professionals who will want to meet you on equal footing.

Choosing consulting also requires choosing a specialty. The knowledge you impart must meet a need of your potential clients.

Perhaps the single most important in establishing a successful practice is attracting and keeping clients. If selling is not your strong suit, you will need to find a partner or hire someone to fill that role.

If you want to minimize your risk, you may opt to find an existing consultancy where you can fill and open niche.
