One Client Makes Her Own Luck!

C.C. came to me with a proven record of success. However, she wanted (and needed) to make a job change. She jumped in with both feet and made the Life-Work Discovery process her own. C.C. makes her own luck. I feel blessed to be able to work with her. I know you will be inspired by her story.

I decided to seek out the guidance of a career coach upon reaching a point in my career where I felt burned out and frustrated. I knew that I needed to make a job change but I did not know what type of change to make or how to go about it in a very tight employment market. I came across Neal’s website while searching the internet for career coaches in Pittsburgh and liked what I saw on it. I met with Neal weekly over the course of several months and during that time he helped me understand my motivations, values, expectations, and strengths. Through his objective listening and thought-provoking questions, I came to understand myself better, and with that, my confidence and self-assurance increased. Neal’s recommendations, especially about networking, served as a catalyst for me to be more open and to reach out to people I know for job leads. This in turn led me to view every interaction I had with someone as an opportunity to  mention my search for a new job, including a chance encounter with a former colleague who I had not seen in 14 years. It was through that chance encounter that I found a fantastic new job! Thank you Neal for your guidance, support, and advice. It worked!!
