Yours truly was featured on the front page of the Local News section of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, August 18th edition. The article, written by Patricia Sheridan, was very flattering and it has generated a tremendous amount of inquiries, interest and new clients. Frankly I’d been very wary about publicists because my limited interaction with members of the profession have not been particularly enlightening. A chance remark by a friend and business associate, however, renewed my interest.
Through a referral, I contacted Danielle Elderkin of Cover Story Communications. I have heard of job seekers, believe it or not, engaging publicists to get them media exposure. However, the more likely client is a business owner who wants to create visibility for his company. No publicist can guarantee success; there are too many factors that are out of her control.
